Many people come to religious faith seeking answers. But for the Christian, spiritual life often asks that we rest content with open-ended questions, while we trust in God to provide answers in His own time, according to His will.
Certainly, that seems to have been the approach Jesus took whenever he was questioned by others. As Fr. Tadeos Abdalian observes the gospels show that Jesus was more likely to pose questions to his followers than to deliver concrete answers. Can that guide us in our personal interactions with Christ today?
